On my system, with Ubuntu 18.04 and Mesa 18.3.3 from
http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-x-swat/updates/ubuntu, I have this issue.  It
started recently, so I assumed it was a certain change in the code, but that
change was then reverted, and the issue is still present.  It is especially
noticeable in Black Forest due to the large amount of trees.
