          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 58405
          Assignee: chris at chris-wilson.co.uk
Summary: Driver not emitting event when unplugging enabled HDMI
                    output
        QA Contact: intel-gfx-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: afiestas at kde.org
          Hardware: Other
            Status: NEW
           Version: git
         Component: Driver/intel
           Product: xorg

If the output connected to the HDMI port is enabled (set to a crtc) and it is
unplugged, the event to announce that the output is no longer connected won't
be emitted until XRRGetResourceScreen is called (you can execute the command
xrandr to trigger it).

This behaviour doesn't seem to happen with VGA, and I could reproduce it in a
i965GM (Dell xps1330) and a newer one integrated in an i7 cpu.
