X session launched with
startx /usr/bin/xterm

Switching to external display always results in dark screen,
however the monitor is not in power saving regime.
intel_reg_dumper before and after [Ctrl+Alt+F1] [Alt+F7]
(dark screen vs. correct image with the xterm window)
