Ugh. That's really, really bad. It says the the render engine on the GPU is
stalling for ages upon ages waiting for memory access. I suspect the reason why
UXA is not so bad in this case is that it simply doesn't use the GPU that
much...


If you repeat this experiment with Option "AccelMethod" "blt", how does it
fare?

intel-gpu-overlay from i-g-t-1.7 should show the frequencies with the recent
kernels.
