[Bug 73971] Intel i915 screen remains blank when resuming from suspend

I forgot to mention a few more things:

- After removing "nomodeset" from the kernel-ml parameters, on first boot X11
wouldn't load due to the broken /etc/X11/xorg.conf. This was easily fixed by
just erasing the file! This allows X11 to auto-detect everything and boot
normally.

- Suspend/resume works fine.

- LCD brightness works fine, before the system couldn't lower/raise brightness
based on mouse movements.
