I haven't found time yet to create the traces. Just some observations:

Updating mesa fixes the issue with my current ingame configuration (which is
vsync off). I tracked this down to

Use four buffers until X driver supports async flips[/url].

I had vsync disabled since initially I wanted to benchmark the HSW. With PRIME
and vsync disabled ingame the rendering however is very 'shacky', to the point
where it's not playable.

I thus re-enabled vsync and the issue reappeared (strange I guess). Initial
tests show that [url=https://www.freedesktop.org/patch/34966/]Correct
present_notify_msc vblank target[/url] seems to fix the issue (with vsync on).
