I don't actually expect you guys to fix this because you have been lying to
yourselves.

If you think majority needs limited range you can set limited as default for
hdmi.

It's not a best guess. But rather self deceiving.

Also if a HDMI monitor can only take limited range, it would be black crushed
rathered than washed.

You don't even know about color range. I just hope nouveau and radeon guys
won't do stupid thing like this.
