I've just experienced this on Arch Linux (x86_64) when running the latest
Enlightenment 0.19.2 and when trying to resize Firefox.

I've got this:

Feb 05 04:40:21 myhost kernel: [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck
timer elapsed... render ring idle

Then my system completely froze and I had to do a hard reboot.

Linux myhost 3.18.5-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jan 30 07:31:50 CET 2015 x86_64
GNU/Linux
