I compiled latest stable Linux 4.9 with both patches and I didn't see any
flickering for two hours running with i915.enable_rc6=1 with HDMI connected -
so far so good. Unfortunately there are other bug(s) (like glitches and
disappearing wallpaper) which was solved with intel-drm-nightly so I need to
compile again.

Let me test this for few days and I'll try different configurations and also
without second patch, then I'll let you know. Thank you very much for your
work!
