I suggest you to try it, just in case it does help.

If your issue really only happens with intel_iommu=0, please please open a new
bug report called something like "Skylake screen flickering only with
intel_iommu=on", and attach the relevant logs (boot with drm.debug=0xe
log_buf_len=1M, reproduce the problem, grab the dmesg output).

As a note, it's really really hard to deal with these bug reports with too many
people describing similar-but-still-different symptoms. I'd really rather have
100 separate bug reports than a bug with 100 different people saying "me too".
