--- Comment #86 from Chris <cpollock at embarqmail.com> ---
The last time my system froze with the 'Hangcheck...'error was 07/28/2015 which
is not to say it's froze since then without the error which it has. It froze on
10/03/2015 (I was running kernel 4.2.3-040203-generic #201510030832 SMP Sat
Oct 3 12:34:31 UTC 2015)
10/12/2015 - same kernel
10/14/2015 - same kernel
10/19/2015 - same kernel
10/24/2015 - same kernel
11/16/2015 - same kernel
01/03/2016 - same kernel at which time I switched over to kernel
3.19.0-42-generic #48~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Fri Dec 18 10:24:49 UTC 2015 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) Uptime between the 11/16/2015 freeze and the
01/03/2016 freeze was 47d 12h 4m. That's one of the longest runs of uptime I
can remember since I switched to Ubuntu. If anyone would like to see any of the
syslog output for these freezes I can provide them as I have hourly syslog
snippets from all the freezes.
I tried running the 4.3...kernel several times however the system would not
finish the boot process.
