Backlight works perfect; I can change the values and the effective change of
backlight is noticeable.

But I have all pixels in black, after some point of the boot, with some kind of
'flash'; as if font were set or so. X.org is not there, so I should just get
agetty.

Maybe it is 'systemd-vconsole-setup' that changes something? I can't tell. I
have ssh access and the journal to check, but I can't see anything relevant
there.
