This comment is just to report that as user i'm facing the same issue on a
spectre x360 with the same configuration.

The up to date patchset here developed is working for me as by
https://github.com/nstommel/broadwell-gfx-kernel-patch and i'm obviously
looking forward for having it delivered upstream and shipped in Debian/Ubuntu
to avoid installing a not signed kernel.
