I have tried to reproduce this on a HSW-4770R machine, but I'm not sure whether
I got matching reasults.

Cputop shows available package states: C3, C6. System stays in C3 after SATA
link management enabled, never enters C6. Toggling DPMS has no effect. The
machine doesn't have a display connected.

Does it seem similar to the symptoms of this bug?
