Hello,

I want to play OpenGL Shading Language.
I'm working on Lenovo ThinkPad R61 laptop with a GM965 chipset
under Fedora 8 updated (2.6.24 kernel).

Following instructions given here I try to rebuild the xserver.
I follow the tutorial at :
http://wiki.x.org/wiki/Development/git

To achieve building I have to update the following :
//git.freedesktop.org/git/mesa/drm
//git.freedesktop.org/git/mesa/mesa
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/util/macros
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/proto/dri2proto
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/proto/renderproto
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/proto/glproto
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/lib/libpciaccess
//git.freedesktop.org/git/pixman
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/xserver
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-input-mouse
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-input-keyboard
//git.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel

Then I proceed as indicated in "Running your new stack".

I get a black screen. Alt F1 & Alt F7 does not work.
I have to reboot.

Any idea ?

Thank you.
