[Intel-gfx] compiz and kwin stuttering

For the last few months, I've been getting like 1-second stutters
consistently when doing things like switching desktops, minimizing in
kwin with desktop effects and compiz.  Anyone have a similar problem
or know how to fix it?

Also, UXA doesn't work at all with compiz
