Hi,

I'm sorry I can't help you, just to say that I have the same problem with XvMC (segfault), and the same problem with tearing.

It's better with OpenGL, but the darker the picture is, the more tears I have.

Without video overlay, you won't get tearing free playback with XV. You
might try OpenGL based playback (like mplayer -vo gl).

Hi,

I'm using xine, freshly compiled from cvs.
I have the same errors with my distribution version (debian).

Here is the logs file, one for xvmc, the other one for xxmc.

Sorry, I don't know what is fd.o, and I never posted a bug.
I'll search and try to do it.
