After few more tests:
- when I move video window to rotated screen as soon as wideo would switch to that monitor it (whole rotated monitor) turns grey.
- moving video window back doesn't restore propper operation
- rest of X works for a few more seconds or until I close mplayer whichever is first then freeze
So it's rather not vblank issue any more.
I also tried with your last patch Barry: "Fix segv for clipped movie window". Didn't help on that particular issue.
