[Intel-gfx] more stable releases?

Recently when I tried to test debian with kernel-2.6.30,
libdrm-2.4.11, xf-v-i 2.7.1, it failed badly on my 945GM...
but xf-v-i git tip works fine. That made me feel we need to
do more stable releases, otherwise we get more fixed bugs and
waste time on bugs.fd.o...

I'm not sure if we should produce 2.7.2 now, or directly shot
out 2.8.0. I'd like to include render accel support for IGDNG
in 2.8.0 release, but both plans are ok with me.

Just my 2 cents.
thanks.
