I mean without any Window Manager at all.  You don't need one if you're
only using a single fullscreen client like the mythfrontend.  Whether it
will solve your problem, I don't know, but I'd think it worth a try.
I've run it that way myself, although I never tried suspending the
system. (It also runs the backend so it would kind of defeat the
purpose!)
