[Intel-gfx] DisplayPort support

Hi all,

Can someone tell me whether the info on:

"There is a branch of the intel driver that attempts DP setup. It's
not clear whether this branch supports DP->DVI connections, but it
certainly doesn't support DP->DP connections yet. "

is up to date or is DisplayPort now part of the mainline driver?

I have bought an Intel DH67GD and 2600k as an upgrade for my linux
computer hopeing to be able to connect it to my 27 inch iMac as a
monitor (it's mini-displayport works as both input and output

On boot the BIOS and grub screens appear on the iMac as expected but
when X starts it doesn't seem to detect the DisplayPort connection.

I am happy to chase further as long as I'm not going up a dead end as
the X wiki page suggests.
