Hm... This has been fixed in a different way by Lucas in [1]. Adding him
here so we can choose one of the fixes. Both look good to me.

As suggested in Lucas', I would also take this opportunity to rename
GMD_ID_REVID to GMD_ID_REVID_MASK for consistency.
