[kmscon-devel] Setting color palettes

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to adjust the colors that come up in kmscon.
In the man page there's a mention of color palettes:

    --palette {name}
        Change the default color-palette. This shouldn't be used
        anymore. Dynamic color palettes should be implemented instead.

What exactly are dynamic color palettes? I'm not finding reference to
them elsewhere in the documentation, and a netsearch isn't bringing up
anything I can see as being related here.
