[Libdlo] Displaylink HID *interface*?

Replying to myself again.. I just saw an error message from usbhid in
the system log:

Jul 15 16:15:10 pancake generic-usb 0003:17E9:401A.0014: timeout
initializing reports
Jul 15 16:15:10 pancake generic-usb 0003:17E9:401A.0014: claimed by
neither input, hiddev nor hidraw

AFAICT the report initialization is nothing that can be controlled by a
quirk. Does anybody have a hint?
