[Libdlo] Ubuntu 9.10

Hi, a couple questions:
1. Is displaylink usable with Ubuntu 9.10?2. I found some instructions (http://mulchman.org/blog/?p=21 and http://mulchman.org/blog/?tag=displaylink) but didn't see any updates for Karmic.  Are those still the directions people should be following?  Are those file versions still correct?? (http://projects.unbit.it/downloads/udlfb-0.2.3_and_xf86-video-displaylink-0.3.tar.gz)??
If not, can someone point me to something newer or post instructions on what one should do?
