Thanks for submitting that fbdev EDID matching patch to linux-fbdev,
that's the right place.  From a udlfb perspective - unless it causes a
match failure or a different resolution to be matched -- refresh rates
don't matter to DisplayLink devices (AFAIK the refresh rate isn't
settable - the chip refreshes out of its hardware framebuffer to the
monitor at a constant ~60Hz rate, and the software doesn't/can't
affect that setting).

But it's good to get that generic Linux fbdev EDID code cleaned up.
It's widely used, but I've seen a lot of bugs and patches reported to
it (there's effectively two branches of it, one in fbdev & one in KMS)
- so it's definitely still actively worked on.
