Thanks, I missed that when browsing the archives.

I'm using Intel GMA X4500HD so Twinview is not an option for me.
Which version of xorg are you running with your setup?

I understand that you are using awesome wm as well? So there was no
need to change anything in the rc.lua and the three screens worked
out of the box once xinerama was patched?

I would like to stick to xrandr, but I'll have a look at your
xinerama-code. Thanks for that! :)
