MC/EM7455 - Debian headless - Assign Cellular connection to network interface automatically

Hi,

I am trying to get the wwan0 interface assigned the cellular connection
information from the "mbim-network /dev/cdc-wdm0 start". I am trying to
get this going in VyOS which is currently based on Debian Jessie. I have
the latest qmi and mbim packages from the stretch and buster repos.
Right now I am assigning the info manually but when I set the default
gateway the "mbim-network /dev/cdc-wdm0 status" goes into "deactivated"
status and the default gateway removed "as shown in route -n".
