Forgot to say; there is also "System Selection Preference" in addition
to "Technology Preference"; one of them is newer than the other, so if
TP doesn't work, SSP may still work. MM tries both IIRC.
That also reminds me my tries to get my Pantech UML290 in 3GPP mode; I
never got it working properly: neither with MM's uml290mode (which uses
kind of SSP via QCDM), nor with TP or SSP using QMI... But that was
possibly due to an old firmware, as Dan can switch his UML290 nicely.
