It is possible via the "NAS Initiate Network Register" request, but
there's no qmicli command for it yet, patches welcome :) ModemManager
does support this action (internally using NAS Initiate Network
Register) via the --3gpp-register-in-operator=[MCCMNC] mmcli command.
