Hi All,

When running the --nas-get-rf-band-info command, the field "Active
Channel" does not seem to update with the change in band (i.e) stuck
with the previous band or first attached band Channel value ).

When CMW 500 - Base station simulator is set to band 3.

# qmicli -d /dev/cdc-wdm1 --nas-get-rf-band-info

[20 Jul 2017, 17:56:36] -Warning ** [/dev/cdc-wdm1] requested auto
mode but no MBIM QMUX support available
[/dev/cdc-wdm1] Successfully got RF band info
Radio Interface: 'lte'
Active Band Class: 'eutran-3'
Active Channel: '300'

When CMW 500 - Base station simulator is set to band 5.

# qmicli -d /dev/cdc-wdm1 --nas-get-rf-band-info

[20 Jul 2017, 17:56:44] -Warning ** [/dev/cdc-wdm1] requested auto
mode but no MBIM QMUX support available
[/dev/cdc-wdm1] Successfully got RF band info
Radio Interface: 'lte'
Active Band Class: 'eutran-5'
Active Channel: '300'

Following are the observation:

1. "Active Channel" is not getting updated in qmicli when the band is
changed on the go in call box ( ( base station simulator )

2. when the band is changed in call box ( base station simulator ) ,
if the celular modem is power cycled, the "Active Channel" is getting
updated in qmicli.

3. Or when the band is changed in call box ( base station simulator )
,base station simulator is re-launched, the "Active Channel" is
getting updated in qmicli.

4. Able to read the channel no using AT!LTEINFO? , when the band is
changed on the go in call box ( ( base station simulator ).

Is there a solution to this issue... Looks like a bug in libqmi ??

Thanks and Regards
Senthil
