QMI based RF status daemon - does it exist?

Does anybody know of an existing libqmi-based application that continuously collects RF status information from a wireless module and makes it available to the rest of the system (via JSON, etc)?

In my case this would be for an embedded device and it would replace an existing application that currently uses AT commands. It doesn't have to be limited to this scenario, but solutions that don't have too many other dependencies are preferred.

Any pointers would be appreciated!
