EM7455: invalid transition and device is closed errors

It's a thread started by me in June this year about an EM7455 in a
T470p using Arch Linux ... so the only apparent difference is that my
machine is a T470p while yours is a T460. I'd be interested if the
findings we ended up with in my case apply also to yours.
