qmi-firmware-update on em7455 : error: unsupported download protocol

Hi. Let me know if there's a better place to ask this question.

I'm trying to get a Dell branded em7455 working on Fedora 34. I'm
using "Google Fi". FYI an em7355 works well.

"mmcli --modem 1" says :

  Status | unlock retries: sim-pin2 (10)
           | state: enabling
           | power state: low
           | signal quality: 0% (cached)

FYI, I did "at!RMARESET=1" yesterday and I thought it worked after
that, but now it's not working.

I thought maybe it's the firmware ( SWI9X30C_02.08.02.00 ), so I tried
to update it :

I stopped and disabled ModemManager. I set :

at!usbcomp=1,1,10d

... and ran update :

qmi-firmware-update --update -d 413c SWI9X30C_02.33.03.00.cwe
SWI9X30C_02.33.03.00_GENERIC_002.072_000.nvu

FYI, I also tried fdt2 on windoze :

fdt2.exe -d g5k -ignswto -f SWI9X30C_02.33.03.00.cwe
