I'm talkin about the rmnet kernel module, see
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/tree/drivers/net/ethernet/qualcomm/rmnet

This should be used for QMAP instead of the qmi_wwan implementation.

Sorry, I can't help you with that since I do not know enough about
Quectel modems.

I think that the previously reported modem composition was good, since
it binds to qmi_wwan. What I meant was to use the rmnet module instead
of the qmi_wwan implementation for QMAP: for example, by default, when
available, ModemManager uses that one.
