Dear all,
I'm trying to get the IT to sort this out:
Open ports:
HTTP, HTTPS
POP3(S), IMAP(S)
VPN, SSH
git, svn, mercurial, bzr
ftp
irc, xmpp
as documented here:
http://libregraphicsmeeting.org/lgm/public-documentation/venue-requirements/
IT are requesting info on reason for access to all the above - so far I
told them this is needed to be able to do work on software - but they
are not satisfied with this and need a more detailed explanation.
I have sent an email to ginger to ask how did she do it last year, but
would really appreciate if you sent me info on this so I can pass it to
the IT and try to get as much as possible from them + to come up with
workarounds if they refuse to open some of the ports above.
Best,
Lara
