[LGM] Meeting

Hi Femke,

I think we are on the same side of the fence here. There is no debate!
Maybe the wording but the general sense is the same.

The call has been there for months but giving extra time seems to me not
confusing. The deadline is not meant to put away people but to help get
things done in a timely manner. I think it is reasonable to extend the
delay when we're facing a situation where there is no proposal yet. We
would not draw the line and say that since we have no proposal at the
deadline we're not going anywhere next year! ;) That would be quite
questionable as a statement!

So, let's extend the deadline as you say but we do expect some kind of
interaction, don't we? Prior to LGM I mean. Then, we will discuss at LGM
and then take a few weeks to polish everything, take the vote and make the
decision.

The purpose of allowing time is not only to produce the document but to
interact with the proposers in order to come up with a decent proposal.

As I said, I will edit the website and post a reminder on CREATE.
