hiya,
i've had a quick look around on flickering images regulations which suggest there is no uk law against it, however it is advised to add warnings at the beginning: of a film/the British Board of Film Classification and any form of TV broadcasting/OFCOM.

+1 on adding the warning where content may cause harm to viewer

Not using the flashy bits really, and I'm planning to mix it with other footage to make it even less flashy...I'll also cut the flashy that was projected in one of the talks by 50% by decreasing the contrast, and will add a warning to the beginning just in case for that talk.-COn 20 Apr 2016 5:56 pm, "Liam R. Please don't use too much of it - some of us can't deal with flashing
or too much blinking (I have cursor blinking disabled in gtk or I get
maigraines, and one virulently flahing video projected on the main
screen caused me problems and may have broken the UK laws on
projections with flashing).

But sure, enough for people to recognize it, especially at reduced
contrast, would be awesome (alas I don't have it).

Best,

Liam [ankh]
