[LGM] very late (too late?) talk proposal

Hi. I very much appreciate the interest. I'm honoured to be chosen for a
spot in the talks, and following that I wanted to have a compelling
presentation put together. Part of my problem is time restriction. I have
overcommitted myself, and have to weigh the tradeoffs in terms of time and
benefit to the meeting.
On the one hand, I could spend my time preparing (in haste) the
presentation I've started, and come out with something reasonable to show.
It would show my roll as a commercial designer who switched to FOSS, which
is a success story, and may also serve as a list of new software to try out
for those attending who are designers.
In order to do this, I'd probably have to drop the state of Libre Graphics
entries for the GIMP and Inkscape projects.
I think this is too big a sacrifice for too little gain. I would rather not
rush and present something better at next year's event, and follow through
on my commitments to projects greater than my own. :)
So yes, please replace my talk with the John's.
I will happily present next year instead, if the interest is still there. :)
If I manage to get everything done in time, I may do a lightning talk
instead (can you advise the cut-off date for that?).
It will be great to see everyone there, regardless. :)
Thanks very much for your compliments and interest in my work.
See you at LGM. :)
