[LGM] LGM 2016 videos - Worth the wait?

I am using Blender as my video editor because its masking system is far
superior to other open source video editors out there. While I can provide
a template, Blender has a high learning curve.
Please, by all means have someone else do this next year.
The only reason I volunteered is because no one else did, and we'd not have
any videos at all if I hadn't taken it up.
If there are people who can get there and edit in real time, more power to
them. I worked with what I was given, and had no control over the setup,
despite showing up a month early in order to help prepare. It was simply
refactored and then taken away at the last minute.
We only have videos of Sunday at all because I was running a backup camera
(student "assistant" destroyed the data, as I feared he would). I refuse to
be involved in a situation like that again, and I pity anyone who
volunteers for it. It would be far better to bring cameras/mics owned by
people in the project.
At any rate, I don't have the time or money to help this year, so please do
sort something else out before the next one.
I doubt I'll be able to attend, even though I enjoy the talks. My time
would probably be better spent preparing a talk for the year after next,
anyway.
The general consensus is most people don't seem to care about the darkness,
or not being able to read things on the projector properly, so... guess I
don't either. :) I'll just slap on the intro and outro to what we have, and
upload as-is.
Thanks for the feedback.
