Is there any rejection of doing the LGM in or in parallel part of
another major conference?
It could map major conferences and as an attempt to bring together, do
something in parallel.
In 2018 the Debian Conference should meet in Taiwan[1]. Usually we are
between 300 and 500 participants.

PS:
I'm going to Montreal for the next few weeks and plan to stay for a
