[LGM] Fwd: lgm 2018: a B. town as a B-plan?

If that's what it takes to have it nominally happen, I would be okay with
that. But, as we learned this year, running in parallel with a compatible
conference tends to limit participation considerably. Could we cut a deal
to get the venue for an extra day or two at the beginning or the end of the
conference?

It's also worth noting that Taiwan takes fingerprints of visitors, so some
folks would not be able to go.
