[LGM] Cancel LGM please

That the local organizers could also host next year does not diminish the
added effort of essentially planning the event twice rather than once. And,
likewise, the fact that we could all live our lives just fine without
meeting this year does not take away from the fact that we all gain
considerably from the event.

I agree that consensus and turn-out are important things, and I'm not
trying to say that the event ought to go on over your objections. I'm just
hoping that you would let events play out a bit more before taking a hard
position on this and pressuring the local organizers. The end of May is a
long way from here.
