[LGM] Losing Lena screening at LGM

Does this need be screened at virtual LGM? I think that it would make more
sense to organize a virtual event and discussion around the film itself,
inviting people from as many interested communities as possible to
participate. Because of our community's small size and male-skewed sex
ratio, an LGM-centric event runs the risk of recreating the lone woman
scenario highlighted in the trailer, which would be painfully ironic.

For what it's worth, widely circulating the proposal itself may do more to
generate awareness than the actual screening. I don't know that I'd watch
the film end to end, but I personally knew nothing about the Lena image and
was unaware of its prurient origins until this discussion brought it to my
attention.
