@Aurélien : It would appear that you are reporting two different buggy
behaviour scenarios. You should separate each into different bug reports.



With regard to the first reported behaviour of merge cell status updated,
please provide step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce the behaviour you
are seeing.

I see no bottom toolbar in Calc with a "merging cell" button, so which toolbar
are you referring to ?
