            Bug ID: 114601
Summary: Need to be able to use spaced dots as a tab fill
                    option
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1.6.2 release
          Hardware: x86 (IA32)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: adaw2 at email.com

Description:
When constructing a Table of Contents the tab fill options include: a string of
dots, a couple different strings of dashes, or a repeated character. Many
publishers require the leader dots to be spaced but LibreOffice does not
provide a way to accomplish this. In other words:

     Chapter 1...............................................5

should look like:

     Chapter 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5

Currently LibreOffice does not allow users to make this correction unless they
go in manually and edit the TOC (which then prevents the user from updating the
TOC).

Please either add a stock option to use " . . . " as a fill character or allow
users to input a string (rather than just a single character).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Styles and Formatting
2. Paragraph
3. Tabs
4. Fill Character

Actual Results:
Available options:
  None
  ........
  --------
  ________
  Character

Expected Results:
Available options:
  None
  ........
  . . . . . . . .
  --------
  ________
  Character

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
