It's unclear what are the specific steps to see the problem (like "change A15
to "this"; select A3:X100; Data->Sort..., Sork key 1 = Column A ascending;
OK"), as well as what problem looks like (e.g., "After those steps, formula in
cell XN contains formula "....", while I expect ...")

Actually, I strongly suspect simple misunderstanding the basics of relative
addressing (see
https://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Addresses_and_References,_Absolute_and_Relative).
