I reproduce with LO 6.0.6 from Ubuntu, but why do you think the problem is on
the LibreOffice side and not on the Thunderbird side?
Images are copied by ctrl+C because if you paste (ctrl+V) in a new text
document, you get the images.

Status set to NEEDINFO, please set it back to UNCONFIRMED once requested
informations are provided.
