[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115814] When revising the dimensions of a page, frame, table, text box etc. overwrite rather than insert the the user's digit(s) . retain the user's relationships.

The reporter privately emailed me for some reason. Quoting:
"sorry for the confusion. this refers to any attribute which is a measurement.
assume a "thing" was defined as 1.2345 inches wide, to change any of the
digits one must position the cursor, insert a digit, & press delete. if however
that digit could overwrite the next the digit the "delete" would be
unnecessary. i did mention that this is trivial but i seem to have the infinite
capacity to forget that delete. if i wish to change 1.23 to 1.34 i end up with
1.3423 when i forget the deletions. my assumption is that any digital change to
a dimension is a replacement rather than an insertion.
note that a plus, minus, period, currency symbol, length symbol for foot or
inch or weight is not a digit."
