[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 115814] When revising the dimensions of a page, frame, table, text box etc. overwrite rather than insert the the user's digit(s) . retain the user's relationships.

You are describing the behaviour of the "Insert" key on your keyboard. Try it
and you will see it changes the mode of insertion in the value fields. You just
have to remember to turn it off after you are done - it affects the whole
operating system after all.
